LESSON POLICY

To ensure your musical progress is as consistent and rewarding as possible, I’ve established a lesson structure that prioritizes your development and momentum. By maintaining a fixed weekly appointment, we create a dedicated space for your growth, helping to build the muscle memory and mental rhythm necessary for real mastery. This regular schedule prevents the "start-stop" cycle of learning, giving you the confidence to step into any jam session or performance and truly hold your own. 

To further streamline our focus, I utilize a monthly prepayment system. This ensures your preferred time slot is permanently reserved on my calendar, giving us a consistent, reliable rhythm for your progress. By settling tuition at the start of each month, we remove the administrative distractions from our sessions, allowing us to spend every available minute focused on your playing. To provide the most high-quality instruction, I spend time preparing specifically for your unique goals before each session; providing at least 24 hours' notice for any changes allows me to adjust this planning and keep your progress on track

Before committing to a monthly schedule, I offer a single introductory session (or a two-lesson trial pack). This is a low-pressure way for us to discuss your goals, assess your current playing, and ensure our communication styles click. This ensures that when you do move into a regular slot, you’re doing so with the confidence that you’re in the right place to reach your potential.

I understand that life is unpredictable. If you provide at least 24 hours’ notice for a cancellation, I will make every effort to find a make-up slot within that same month to ensure you don’t lose your rhythm. While I cannot guarantee a make-up for late-notice cancellations, this policy ensures that our time remains focused on your improvement and that your seat at the "jam session" is always ready.
